New Kittens and Retirement

So we have new kittens again. Moonie has blessed us once again with 7 beautiful babies. Her last two litters have been with our silver spotted boy Shadow, but this time we decided to go back to our outstanding brown marble boy Catch. We had pretty much decided that this would be Moonie's last litter, but then she decided to give us her best litter yet! I could not be more thrilled with these babies, especially the silver marbles. I am working so hard to improve the silver marble, and I think these babies are just fabulous!

Our lovely silver spotted girl Bluewater Umbra of Fianna is being retired and was spayed today. She had 2 great litters for us, but just had trouble keeping on weight when nursing and keeping enough milk. She is going to a wonderful forever pet home and her little guy Angus from her last litter will be going with her! We are very happy with our decision especially as we transition our breeding program to focus on marbles exclusively. We will miss our sweet, sweet girl Umbra, but know she is going to a great home!

Pegasus and Pup

This is CH Fianna Celtic Flyer of MacEnvi or "Pegasus." This girl went over to Scotland after the long pet passport process and being bred to my male CH Balicats Silver Shadow of Fianna. Pegasus was voted Breeders' Choice Best Silver Kitten at On Safari last year. I am very proud of this girl and it was so sad when she finally went to Scotland, but I have gained a dear friend in the form of Gillian Cain from MacEnvi Bengals. She had her kittens a couple weeks after arriving and apparantly has taken a special liking to one of Gillian's Chihuahua puppies. I thought these pictures were just adorable!

Baroness: 11 Weeks

This is Baroness. She is a "soft silver" with hardly a speck of tarnish on her. She has a beautiful straight profile and her pattern is falling out. She is a larger girl and very sweet.

Zarana: 11 Weeks

This is Zarana. She is INTENSELY black and white, she is sheeted, but her pattern is falling out more and more. She is very spunky and was the first to do everything, eat, use the litterbox, explore outside the kitten box, etc.

Lady Jay: 11 Weeks

This is Lady Jay. She has a very wild look about her. Her profile is almost completely straight and she has light ocelli on the backs of her ears, more defined than I have seen on any of my other kittens. She is VERY vocal, especially when she is hungry.

Scarlett: 11 weeks

This is Scarlett. She is the runt of the litter but is very fiesty! She is a total lap baby and loves to cuddle any chance she gets. She has a very warm, reddish brown tone to her fur. She is available at a very reasonable price, especially if she is purchased with one of her sisters.

Favorite Photos

I wanted to post some of my favorite photos that I have taken over the years. Many times my pets and adult Bengals get overshadowed by all the pictures I take of kittens so I thought I would show off some of my adults and my beloved pets.

This is Khole and Blizzard. They are littermates and were my first Bengals, what got me started in my love for this breed. They are almost five years old and still love each other so much. I will never regret getting littermates and recommend it to anyone getting their first Bengals as pets. They are absolutely our "fur children." Blizzard, or Tailwinds Moonlit Snow of Fianna, is our Seal Lynx point boy and definitely my husband's cat. Khole, or Tailwinds Solar Flare of Fianna, is my baby. His favorite place to sleep is ON TOP of me.

This is our melanistic girl Guin. She had two litters of beautiful kittens for us before she was retired. She has one of the BEST tails I have ever seen on a Bengal. We still have her and she is my silver stud Shadow's companion so he does not get lonely when he does not have any visiting "girlfriends."

I just love this picture of Blizzard. He is one of the reasons I love Lynx points so much, I just LOVE those blue eyes!

This is our stud boy Shadow, or CH Balicats Silver Shadow of Fianna. He is a very sweet boy and LOVES his girlfriends! He and Guin are best buddies and when I retire him I will place them together.

This is Catch, or RW SGC Zendada Sun Catcher of Fianna. This is the classic Zendada "laughing face." There are many other pictures of other Zendada cats making the exact same face. I just love it!

This is my other fur child Harley. He is a white miniature schnauzer. He actually gets along great with the cats, especially our up and coming stud boy Smokey. I don't think any animal could love a human as much as this dog loves me and the feeling is mutual. He is my baby for sure!

This is Catch with our silver spotted girl CH Bluewater Umbra of Fianna when she was a kitten. Catch has always been so great with kittens, male or female. He warms right up to them and never shies away from a cuddle.

This is Danny with one of my all time favorite kittens Tater, or Fianna Fine Design of Adventure Beach. Tater was our girl Chase's second litter and she was a singleton. She was so full of herself, confidant, playful, and just a joy of a kitten to have!

This is definitely NOT a flattering picture of me, but I love how Catch is snuggling with me. He absolutely LOVES to snuggle and especially loves cat shows when he gets me almost to himself

Danny cuddling with two kittens. Danny is so great with the kittens and they always just LOVE him. I can not tell you how many pictures I have of kittens sleeping, climbing, or generally hanging off of Danny!

This is my parents' cat Spencer cuddling with Fianna Quite the Catch of Bahiya, or Sushi, when she was a kitten. Spencer was out of Chase's first litter and was a gift to my parents. Spencer just took to this kitten and hung onto her most of the night while we were visiting.

Chase, or Bengaland Spirit Chaser of Fianna, talking to her kittens. Chase is very mouthy and talks to her kittens all the time. It is very cute to watch!

What's wrong with this picture? This is NOT these kittens' mama! The girl is CH Bosquebengals Moondancer of Fianna, or Moonie. Moonie LOVES being a mom so much she will pretty much let any kitten nurse from her.

Harley likes to climb the cat tree too. I love this picture because the kitten just seems to be looking at Harley and thinking, "what are you doing up here?"

Another hotel photo with Catch and Umbra. All my cats LOVE hotels and love going to shows because they take over the beds! Usually Danny and I get two beds so the cats have more space to sleep.

Catch and Moonie belly up! I love grabbing photos when the cats are asleep. I can usually find them in pretty amusing poses.
